POLICIES

APPOINTMENTS

We require that you make all appointments in advance to ensure stylist availability, as well as to secure the time that works best for your schedule.  Each of our stylists offer easy online booking.  You can access their schedules and request an appointment on the team page of this website.  

 

Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time in order to relax, browse products and enjoy a refreshing beverage. If you are late for your appointment, we may need to reschedule your appointment or modify your service(s).

CANCELLATIONS

We appreciate your understanding of our cancellation policy. This policy is in place to protect both your time and the time and livelihood of our stylists.

 

If you need to cancel your appointment we please ask that you give us no less than 24 hours notice.  If you have to cancel your appointment within 24 hours notice then you will be billed 1/2 of the cost of the missed service(s). Failure to show for your appointment will result in a full service charge.  These fees will be billed via Square Invoice.

 

For your convenience, we offer a confirmation text & email 4 days prior to your appointment and a reminder text 2 hours prior.

 

We ask that you please keep us updated on any changes to your contact information.

CHILDREN

Children are the biggest blessing and as mamas and aunties we love them so much. 

However, for the best salon experience we ask that kiddos stay home during your salon visit.  We know finding childcare can be challenging but we appreciate your cooperation with this policy and we hope your next visit to Ivy House is peaceful, refreshing and exactly what you need to feel your best.

BUDDIES & BEAUS

Salon days are the best days!  We know you want to share them with your bestie or your boyfriend but unfortunately we just don't have the space!  As much as we want this to be a fun group event we ask that you please don't bring your bestie or your boyfriend to your appointment.  Thank you so much for understanding and we hope your beau loves your new hair just as much as we do.

SERVICE GUARANTEE

We want you to be happy and satisfied with your services. Therefore, we do ask that you email your stylist within 10 days of your service(s) for any changes that you may require. Each stylist's personal email address is located on the team page of this website.  We are happy for the opportunity to make things right for you.

PRODUCT GUARANTEE

We offer full exchanges on all product purchases. It is important to us that you have the correct haircare products for your use at home. We do not wish to add to the product graveyard that exists under many bathroom sinks. We encourage you to bring in any item that is not meeting your expectations and we will replace it with something that better suits your needs.

Returns on tools must occur within 14 days of the original purchase date. Returned items must consist of all packaging and be in original condition.

We cannot offer returns or exchanges on hair accessories such as clips, brushes, combs, etc. Sales of those items are final.

GRATUITIES

Gratuities are not included in services provided.  Gratuities are always appreciated and we thank you for your thoughtfulness. (cash or credit cards welcome)

DISCLAIMER

All pricing is based on time and product used to perform each service.  Pricing is subject to increase if additional time or product is needed to accommodate your particular hair needs.  If you have any questions on specific pricing, then we urge you to book a separate day consultation for a specific price quote.

COVID-19

We always strive to provide a clean and serene space for you to enjoy.  If you feel most comfortable wearing a mask we welcome you to do so.  We look forward to seeing you in the salon.
